Each level has a limit on how many enemies are permitted to get inside your castle before you lose. That information is displayed in the Status Bar on the bottom of the screen. This is a fast paced game. In order to keep up with the waves of enemies it is important that you spend all the money you get. Identify the area with a lot of traffic ( intersections are usually a good candidate ; the portions of the road closer to your castle ) Another good location to build the turrets is in the vicinity of the walls. The walls of your castle must be the main area where you should concentrate some fire power since this is the last line of defence. Another useful tip is repairing the damaged walls. It is a good practice to set the walls to Auto-Repair as soon as they take some damage. The repair takes time, and with passing time, money is spent. The top tip for the Auto-Repair contains information about the cost per time unit needed for auto repair to work. If a wall has damage, it is set on auto-repair but no funds are available, the repair process is suspended until funds are again available. Once the turrets are in place, the focus must switch to upgrading the turrets. The top tip for the Upgrade button contains information about the cost of the upgrade and the benefits that will be obtain once upgraded.
